far fa-compass

Explore your needs and ideas

Sometimes a specific need or idea can be achieved in different ways. Therefore it is crucial to have a first discussion in order to explore all possibilities and be able to be prepared as much as possible. Tip: Sometimes simply searching for similar photographs in the Internet helps to better communicate and develop your initial ideas.

Post-Processing effort varies a lot on your needs - in principle every picture is being re-touched: as little as required in order to maximise the outcome.

Check-List - Common questions which will be discussed

Corporate Photography, Celebrations, Documentation

  • For what will the photographs be used?
  • How many people will attend the event?
  • What is the agenda and level of engagement?
  • Are there any key persons (VIPs)?
  • Are there special moments to be captured?
  • Will the audience be informed that photos will be taken?

Location
I use mobile studio equipment and can work at any location. Outdoor shoots usually require more time and are weather-dependent.

Special wishes
Group pictures, informal moments or specific requests can be planned in advance.

Business Portraits, Other Portraits, Group Pictures

  • For what will the photographs be used?
  • What type of portraits do you have in mind (headshots, team, lifestyle)?
  • How many people need to be photographed?
  • Where will the images be used (website, LinkedIn, print, internal)?
  • Do you require a consistent visual style across all portraits?

Location
Mobile studio available; I can come to your office or any location. Outdoor portraits need extra time and depend on weather.

Cothing
Bring 2–3 options (business / business casual). Avoid strong patterns and logos.

Timing
Morning light is often best; for larger teams, plan buffers for setup and transitions.

Architecture, Food, Other Projects

  • For what will the photographs be used?
  • What type of photography do you have in mind?
  • Does it make sense to plan a test shoot?
  • Are there any dependencies (timing, access, permits)?

Location
I work on location and can adapt to a wide range of environments. Outdoor shoots may require additional time and depend on weather and light.

Preparation
For complex projects (architecture, food, editorial), mood boards or reference images help align expectations.

Timing
Light conditions and access windows often define the optimal shooting schedule.
